Office Support Staff
Although Abby Walsh has been working at ECO’s clinic office since February 2019, she is not a stranger to ECO. Throughout high school, Abby worked at ECO as both a foal watch attendant and as an assistant to the veterinarians. After high school, Abby attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and was a member of the University’s Hunt Seat Equestrian team. Since receiving her degree, Abby has worked as a veterinary assistant at small animal hospital, at SmartPak Equine in Plymouth, MA, and, in Albany, at Cargill Animal Nutrition (Nutrena) as a Customer Account Coordinator and Product Specialist. The closing of the Albany Cargill office brought Abby full circle, as after this event she returned to ECO. You are likely speak to Abby when you call or visit the ECO office. In addition to her ECO office duties, Abby supports marketing and social media tasks for ECO, Rhinebeck Equine, and Millbrook Equine.
When Abby isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark and their cross-eyed Siamese/Ragdoll cat, Del. Abby is hoping to convince her husband that they should add to their family with a horse or many…fingers crossed!
