Tobie McCarty has been a horse lover for as long as she can remember and started riding at age seven. Never one to shy away from a challenge, she has explored as many types of riding and horses as she could, including English and Western riding, saddle seat, driving, in hand, jumping, trail, dressage, barrel racing, and gymkhana.
She is a native of Albany County and now lives locally with her husband, Corey. At OakenCroft, Tobie is an essential part of the farm staff and is often drafted into holding horses and helping with treatments. When she is not at OakenCroft, Tobie enjoys working with poultry and spending time with her three dogs and four horses. She is also OakenCroft’s occasional unofficial staff photographer.
