Dr. Ogrodnik grew up in upstate New York where her love of animals was fostered by living on a small farm. Of course, horses were always her favorite and much of her time was spent riding the trails on surrounding state land and taking lessons at nearby hunter-jumper barns. She is also fortunate to have family in Iceland where she became well acquainted with Icelandic horses.
Ronja attended Alfred University where she rode on the varsity hunter-jumper IHSA team and studied biological sciences. She then made the trek north, with her dog Sunna, to Guelph, Ontario where she attended the Ontario Veterinary College. Although she really enjoyed her time in Canada, Ronja is very excited to be back in New York following her dream to be an equine veterinarian.
