ECO Payment Policy

The Equine Clinic at OakenCroft has a rich and proud history. When ECO began in 1985, Rick and Marilyn worked out of their kitchen with two employees. As the practice has grown, so has the complexity of running a busy equine veterinary practice. The most important component of our legacy is you, the horse owner, who is not just our client but our friend. It is through this relationship that each of us at ECO is able to do what we love to do. In order to keep pace with advances in veterinary medicine while continuing to provide you with the best equine medicine services available, we find it necessary to revamp our payment policies. Effective January 1, 2020, payment by credit card or check is required for each appointment or emergency visit. Monthly billing and/or financing for unplanned significant events is available on an individual basis. Read the full document on our payment policies here: ECO Payment Policy

Our goal is to have a valid credit card on file for each client which will be processed after each visit. Please read, sign and return the following credit card storage & terms of use agreement to our office. ECO Credit Card Storage Authorization/Terms of Use

Note: We do not store credit card information aside from the last four digit identifier. We contract a third party credit service to retain and process your credit card payment. For detailed information on their security program, please visit www.heartlandpaymentsystems.com/data-security

Care Credit:  ECO also accepts CareCredit payments.  CareCredit can be especially useful to have during times of emergency such as when illness or injury strikes a horse, and you are facing unexpected expenses. Apply online via the CareCredit website

Cancellation Policy:  Effective March 1, 2021, ECO has implemented a cancellation policy.  To cancel a scheduled appointment, you must notify the office by phone at 518-767-2906 by 4pm the day before your appointment is to occur.  If a cancellation occurs after this timeframe, a cancellation fee in an amount equal to the call charge assessed to your location.  Payment of the cancellation fee must be received prior to scheduling the next appointment.

We provide online credit card & PayPal payments through PayPal. To pay online, you will need your ECO account number, your credit card or PayPal account information, and the amount you are paying.  You will find your ECO account number on the right hand side of your statement underneath your current balance.  Enter your ECO account number in the box below.  Then click on the “Pay Now” button, and you will be directed to a new page which allows you to log into your PayPal account or to pay by credit card without having to sign up for a PayPal account. On the payment/order summary page, enter the amount of your payment.  Entering a “description” in the box provided is optional–you may add your name here.  You will be able to review your payment before submitting.  A “Thank You” page will be presented when the transaction is successfully completed.
