Dr. Allie Catalino, DVM

Dr. Catalino is originally from Baldwinsville, New York where she began riding in Hunter/Jumper competitions at five years of age. Throughout high school, her enthusiasm and interest in horses continued with a working student position where she fine tuned her horsemanship skills.

Dr. Catalino attended SUNY Geneseo where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. During her time in Geneseo, she was an active member of the Geneseo Equestrian Team and represented the team at IHSA Nationals in 2014.

After attending veterinary school at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island Canada, Dr. Catalino was very excited to return to New York to be a part of the Oakencroft team.

Dr. Catalino is certified in animal chiropractic (Options for Animals) and acupuncture (Chi University). She has a particular interest in taking an integrative approach to patient care where Western medicine works hand in hand with traditional Chinese therapies. Dr. Catalino's favorite cases involve lameness evaluation and geriatric care.

Outside of work, Dr. Catalino can be found riding her warmblood pictured above, hiking with her husband and dogs, or hanging out with her pet pigs.
