Dr. Grace Loughlin

Dr. Loughlin grew up in Natick, Massachusetts. Her love of animals began at a young age, visiting her neighbor’s small backyard farm. She later developed a passion for veterinary medicine through working and caring for the variety of animals at her neighbor’s farm: horses, mini cows, guinea pigs, deer, and even a wallaby!

Dr. Loughlin earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with a pre-veterinary concentration, and a double minor in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Clemson University in South Carolina. She continued her veterinary education at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. During her time at Tufts, she was the coordinator for the large animal student technician team and worked as a technician at the Hospital for Large Animals. At graduation from Tufts, Dr. Loughlin was awarded the Richard J. Sheehan, DVM, Equine Award of Excellence in Large Animal Medicine.

Dr. Loughlin’s special interests in equine medicine include internal medicine, emergency medicine and dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting and spending time with her three pets: guinea pigs Tonks and Luna, and cat Sal.
