Dr. Katie Clark, DVM

Growing up in western Massachusetts, Dr. Clark always had a love for animals and began riding horses at a young age.

Outside of school, Dr. Clark spent all of her time at the barn. Whether she was riding or doing barn chores, Dr. Clark always enjoyed time spent around the horses. After seeing the veterinarians come out for an emergency for one of the horses, Katie decided she wanted to pursue a career as an equine veterinarian.

Dr. Clark earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, while working at their equine facility. She continued her education at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, where she worked as a technician in the Hospital for Large Animals.

Dr. Clark completed her internship at Oakencroft, and afterwards stayed on as part of the team.

Dr. Clark is especially interested in ophthalmology, reproduction and dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and kayaking with her dog Sadie and is excited to explore New York.
