No matter what type of surgery your horse requires the veterinary team at Oakencroft will manage the case from beginning to end to ensure your horse receives the best possible results.

Oakencroft regularly performs surgeries in the field including enucleation, closed castration, umbilical hernia repair, fractured splint bone removal (depending on location), suturing, and neurectomy.  

For more invasive surgeries such as colics and fractures that cannot be done on your property Oakencroft develops a treatment plan and refers the surgery to a board certified equine veterinary surgeon.
